Woganurra Aboriginal Corporation in partnership with The Goondee Aboriginal Keeping Place provides Cultural and Educational Programs, Services and Consultancy. Areas of speciality include Aboriginal - history, language, culture and family genealogy. Educational sessions can be tailored for all ages from school based students to adults; and Cultural Awareness Training is available for corporate or non-corporate groups.
We also supply Aboriginal Artefacts and tools with the timber and other resources sourced locally; and artefacts are crafted through a process that follows the teachings passed down from our old people. The Goondee Aboriginal Keeping Place Museum offers people an opportunity to connect with the history, culture and language of our local and surrounding Aboriginal Peoples. We are dedicated language workers who support language revitalisation and resource development for Gamilaraay, Yuwaalaraay and Murrawarri, and are able to adapt training and support as per request.
