Description

The scheme is a pool of suppliers prequalified to supply digital engineering services for infrastructure projects.

Scope

The scheme is pool of suppliers prequalified to supply digital engineering services for infrastructure projects. This is an agency specific scheme which is available to organisations eligible to buy from NSW Government procurement arrangements. The scheme is managed by Transport for NSW.

The scheme facilitates, but does not replace, quotation and tender assessment processes for individual procurement events. Purchasers using the scheme must carry out their own due diligence with regard to value for money for each procurement event.

Prequalification does not extend to related, associated or subsidiary businesses.

The Procurement Board Direction PBD-2022-02 applies to this scheme.

Instructions

  1. You should start by understanding the scheme terms and conditions.
  2. Create a supplier account if you don't have one already.
  3. Start an application by logging in with your user account.
  4. Review the capability descriptors for the prequalification service types you wish to apply for.
  5. Complete the templates and provide supporting information for the capabilities you have nominated.
  6. You must provide two independent client referees for each capability nominated. The client referee must include meaningful detail of services provided and must be supported by evidence that is aligned with the nominated capability.
  7. After submitting your application, Transport for NSW will undertake an assessment to determine eligibility.
  8. You may be contacted to provide additional information.
  9. You will be notified of the outcome via email.

Organisational experience and referee reports * (required)

Please use the template to provide details of your business experience and associated referee reports.

Details on the Digital Engineering Services and sub-category requirements are provided in Appendix 1 of the Scheme Terms and Conditions.

Report requirements:

  • Applicants must provide at least 2 reports with references for each nominated Digital Engineering Services capability.
  • Applicants may nominate experience of additional Digital Engineering Services (under service capability 8) that are directly related to the planning, delivery and management of the built environment.
  • Reports may nominate multiple capabilities of Digital Engineering Services, each supported by a referee assessment.
  • Experience must provide evidence that is aligned with the nominated Digital Engineering Services.
  • Experience must have been completed in the last three (3) years, and ongoing engagements may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Experience may have been provided from both Australia and overseas, however organisation resource(s) must be available to provide services in NSW (or other jurisdictions where applicable).
  • If the applicant is a new organisation and has no corporate history, prior experience of their principal consultants may be provided.
  • Applicants with prior experience as a public servant may provide relevant work-related experience and references.

Insurances * (required)

When working with NSW Government, all organisations must provide proof of relevant insurances at time of tender and engagement. As a part of being accepted onto the Digital Engineering Services Scheme, all suppliers must agree to provide proof of the following relevant insurances:

  • professional indemnity insurance
  • Where required by law, workers' compensation insurance.
  • public liability
  • If supplying products such as hardware or software, product liability insurance.

1.1 Maturity assessment

Comprehensive business analysis and benchmarking of Digital Engineering (DE) capability. Identifying and defining DE industry best practice. Developing an incremental improvement program for DE capability.

Tailoring and integration of DE standards within a MOFD. Organisation and team structure review with respect to DE and digital transformation.
