Project goals
The Active Leak Detection Project (the Project) seeks to commission expert assistance in looking for network leaks at select regional Local Water Utilities (LWUs) across NSW. The Project is a component of the NSW Water Efficiency and Regional Leakage Reduction Program.
An optional tender briefing will be held over Teams on 01/10/24. Please register your interest by Monday 30 September to joanne.mcdonnell@dpie.nsw.gov.au and a Teams invite will be sent to you.
Scope
The contractor/s will be given responsibility for specific regional areas in which to perform leak detection and subsequently deliver individual reports with leak locations pinpointed via GIS software as well as highlighting other identified asset maintenance issues and a comparison of leak rates compared to other LWUs via a sperate ‘Insight Report’. Please refer to the attachment for further information.
