Project goals

The proposed sites are part of the Council's 23-24 Annual Road Rehabilitation Program. The goal is to improve driveability and road safety while enhancing the drainage systems to reduce regular maintenance costs. The roads are within the Council's road network.

Scope

Contractor to provide a project starting notification letter to the residents of Riverview Road and vicinity of the project site.  

Carry out underground service (Potholing) locations and identified potential issues where service to be lowered and need to work closely with service provider & affected residents to complete the exercise.

Site establishment including worker amenities, erosion/dust control measures, security fence around any open trenches to be in place to comply with all safety requirements.

Submit a Traffic control plan to Council’s Superintendent for approval. Commencing of work will be allowed once this is approved.

Mandatory site briefing to be held at 10am, 2 October 2024. Meeting point at Carpark Riverview Pitt Lane Intersection.
