Project goals

The project objectives include upsizing and relocating the existing drinking water reticulation main as described in the Scope of Works. This includes replacing the pipe mains, hydrants, stop valves, marker posts, covers, and any fittings required to replicate the current system functionality to meet the standard of the WSA code. All residents and businesses must have no extended interruption to their water supply for the duration of the works, hence temporary water supply lines may need to be installed.

No damage will be done to existing utilities in the area, including, but not limited to, water services, sewerage services, stormwater infrastructure, gas mains, power, and telecommunications.

The work will cause no lasting damage to the environment, and particularly no damage to the protected native vegetation.
