Project goals

SCS has been engaged to rectify existing steel works and the completion of steel boardwalk and viewing platforms in the Jenolan Caves world heritage area. This project is to be completed by the end of the 2024/25 financial year.

By undertaking this construction, the popular tourist destination of Jenolan Caves will offer additional experiences for the large volume of tourists it attracts yearly. The boardwalk construction has commenced however, SCS have taken back the job from a previous contractor. We require a new supplier to complete the remaining works including supply, fabrication of materials and installation.

Scope

Seeking a supplier to complete the following works including supply, fabrication and installation in accordance with the supplied drawings:

  • Boardwalk
  • 3 x viewing platforms, events deck and space ramp
  • Balustrade and handrail
  • Installation of above
  • Provision of Shop drawings prior to commencing works

Additional details/instructions

Suppliers must register to attend an onsite meeting on 9th or 10th December by contacting Simone Tenne via email @ simone.tenne@scs.nsw.gov.au a minimum 48 hours in advance.

There are site access limitations on 10/12/2024 which will require a longer walk to the site. If you are unable to attend either of these days, please reach out to Simone to discuss further.

Failure to attend a mandatory tender site meeting will result in a non-compliant submission.
