Project goals
The NSW Telemetry Uplift Program (TUP) invites feedback from organisations to respond to a market sounding process to understand and refine tender specifications for the procurement, supply and installations of telemetry devices in groundwater sources in the Murry-Darling Basin.
At the conclusion of this market sounding process, the NSW Telemetry Uplift Program hopes to:
- Introduce the opportunity to potential tenderers, and outline the objectives, proposed methodology and timeline
- Obtain feedback from potential tenderers on the proposed tender specification
- Identify individuals, groups and companies that are interested in submitting a tender
Scope
The high level scope for this project is to supply and install 2,500 telemetry devices across groundwater sources along the Murray-Darling Basin.
1. Landholder engagement
- Sign landholders up to the program
- Enter into agreements with licence holders to conduct work
2. Supply of telemetry devices
- Procure the required number of telemetry devices
3. Installation of telemetry devices
4. Configure telemetry devices
- Install devices on identified sites
- Register and validate on the DQP Portal
5. Monitoring / defects liability period
- Monitor the operation and connectivity of installed devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues
