Project goals

The NSW Telemetry Uplift Program (TUP) invites feedback from organisations to respond to a market sounding process to understand and refine tender specifications for the procurement, supply and installations of telemetry devices in groundwater sources in the Murry-Darling Basin.

At the conclusion of this market sounding process, the NSW Telemetry Uplift Program hopes to:

  1. Introduce the opportunity to potential tenderers, and outline the objectives, proposed methodology and timeline
  2. Obtain feedback from potential tenderers on the proposed tender specification
  3. Identify individuals, groups and companies that are interested in submitting a tender

Scope

The high level scope for this project is to supply and install 2,500 telemetry devices across groundwater sources along the Murray-Darling Basin.

1. Landholder engagement

  • Sign landholders up to the program
  • Enter into agreements with licence holders to conduct work

2. Supply of telemetry devices

  • Procure the required number of telemetry devices

3. Installation of telemetry devices

4. Configure telemetry devices

  • Install devices on identified sites
  • Register and validate on the DQP Portal

5. Monitoring / defects liability period

  • Monitor the operation and connectivity of installed devices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues

This scope is subject to changes following the market sounding process.
