How to book travel

FCM Travel Solutions (FCM) is the approved supplier of travel management services to the whole of NSW Government and other eligible customers under Contract 1008 Travel management services.

FCM provides an online booking tool, reporting tool and a dedicated Australia based consultant team to book all types of travel including:

  • air travel
  • accommodation
  • car hire
  • rail and ferry
  • coach
  • charter
  • group travel (10 or more travellers)
  • travel visa service.

Financial reconciliation and program management

The American Express Business Travel Account (BTA) is the whole-of-government mandated form of payment for business related travel expenses. More information is available in the whole-of-government contract user guide, Virtual travel card payment facility.

American Express (AMEX) provides for efficient and easy payment for air travel, accommodation and car hire. In addition, the contract benefits buyers by providing:

  • pre and post statement data matching to support travel reconciliation
  • online statement and reconciliation tool (BTA Connect).
  • training.

FCM has a dedicated email nswg.finance@fcmtravel.com.au for queries relating to:

  • American Express statement including enhanced data (please include a copy or screen shot of your statement and the area you are querying)
  • queries on charges
  • copies of hotel invoices including incidental breakdowns
  • FCM invoices (invoices are accessible via FCM Portal).

  • new account setup
  • changes to account details and hierarchy
  • account closures
  • general enquiries including statement queries
  • BTAConnect technical enquiries/issues, new user access and training
